The school is 100% owned by the Gilmore family of Holden, MA. Our President is an MBA and a highly experienced, RMV-certified driving instructor. The company is financially healthy and has zero debt except for loans on a few of our cars. Operations are 100% funded by student tuition; we receive NO stimulus money, grants, subsidized loans or any other form of taxpayer-funded assistance. Boylston Auto School, Inc headquartered on Route 140 in Boylston, MA near the Shrewsbury town line is the parent company; we operate our driving programs under the name Gilmore's Driving School.

driver education with unrelated subjects omitted. We're fully licensed, insured, and bonded. Our first priority is your safety. We create a calm, reassuring environment and never rush students into driving beyond their capabilities too quickly. We utilize the latest in driver training techniques to transform inexperienced drivers into competent and confident drivers. Boylston Auto School supports the local community.
Our Staff:
To be considered for employment, applicants must be motivated primarily by a love of what they do and the desire to help others, instead of just a need for a paycheck. Each of our instructors is fully background checked and RMV-certified, with an average of seven years experience in driver education. To compensate for our high expectations of performance and customer service, Boylston Auto School instructors are paid more than the industry average.
Customer Service:
We care about our students, and do everything possible to help you obtain your license. Our office is open and staffed with knowledgeable personnel six days per week (closed on Sundays). We use the Schedule2Drive online scheduling system, enabling students to schedule lessons anytime. During times of peak demand (April-October), we work very long hours to help increase available drive times.
Training Vehicles:
When inexperienced new drivers are behind the wheel, vehicle safety is of utmost importance. We purchase only new or late model, IIHS top safety-rated and 5-star rated cars with low miles. We are meticulous about vehicle condition, performing frequent maintenance and safety inspections by ASE Master technicians. All of our vehicles have winter tires mounted when the weather warrants. In addition to dual controls, vehicles are equipped with the latest safety features, such as:-

Some of the beat-up cars used elsewhere for driver education are an embarrassment, but you can completely avoid them by taking driver's ed with us! We will never compromise on the quality of our program, including our vehicles. Your tuition covers all costs of using our cars for lessons; there are no hidden charges. We currently own seven training vehicles, one per instructor.
